Day 1: LOS ANGELES - ARRIVAL
Welcome to the City of Angels! After arriving at Los Angeles International Airport, take time to settle into your hotel and unwind. Whether you’re a film buff eager to explore Hollywood, a foodie ready to indulge in diverse cuisine, or simply looking to relax after your flight, the city offers endless possibilities. Later in the day, you’ll meet your Tour Director, who will provide a preview of the exciting adventure ahead. The evening is yours to explore the vibrant nightlife or simply rest up for the journey to come.
Day 2: LOS ANGELES - PALM SPRINGS - PHOENIX
Your adventure kicks off bright and early as we depart Los Angeles and head towards the sunny paradise of Palm Springs. Known as the winter playground for Hollywood’s elite, Palm Springs boasts stunning desert landscapes, a lively downtown area, and world-class golf courses. As you approach the city, you’ll be greeted by a sea of wind turbines, signalling the entrance to this chic desert oasis. After soaking in the sights, continue through the Coachella Valley, passing by the charming town of Indio, famous for its annual Date Festival. As the day winds down, we’ll arrive in Phoenix, where the warmth of the desert night invites you to explore or simply relax by the pool.
Day 3: PHOENIX - SEDONA - GRAND CANYON
Today, prepare to be captivated by the ever-changing landscapes of the American Southwest. Journey through the Sonoran Desert, one of the most biologically diverse deserts in the world, where towering cacti and rugged terrain create a dramatic backdrop. Our next stop is Sedona, a city that enchants with its towering red rock formations, each named for their distinctive shapes like Cathedral Rock and Coffee Pot Rock. As we traverse the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, the breathtaking scenery will leave you in awe. Our final destination is the Grand Canyon, a natural wonder that defies description. Stand at the edge of this mile-deep canyon, and let the sheer scale and beauty of the landscape take your breath away.
Day 4: GRAND CANYON - MONUMENT VALLEY - PAGE/LAKE POWELL
This morning, we continue our journey through the heart of the Navajo Nation. As we travel along, you’ll pass by the historic Cameron Trading Post, a stop that’s been welcoming travellers since 1916. The adventure deepens as we enter the Painted Desert and arrive at Monument Valley, a landscape made famous by countless films and iconic photographs. The towering sandstone formations rise from the desert floor, creating a scene that is quintessentially American West. By late afternoon, we’ll reach the town of Page, perched on a mesa above the Colorado River. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps enjoying a sunset over Lake Powell or exploring the local dining scene.
Day 5: PAGE/LAKE POWELL - KANAB - BRYCE CANYON
Start your day with a visit to the impressive Glen Canyon Dam, which tames the mighty Colorado River to create Lake Powell, one of the most stunning man-made lakes in the world. The contrast of the crystal-clear blue water against the red-rock canyon walls is a sight to behold. From here, we journey into Utah, a state known for its unique landscapes and vibrant Mormon culture. Passing through the picturesque town of Kanab, we continue to Bryce Canyon National Park, famous for its whimsical hoodoos—tall, thin spires of rock that seem to defy gravity. As evening falls, Bryce Canyon offers one of the darkest night skies in North America, perfect for stargazing and spotting constellations.
Day 6: BRYCE CANYON - ZION - LAS VEGAS
Today, nature's wonders continue as we explore Zion National Park, where massive sandstone cliffs in shades of red, pink, and cream tower over the lush valleys below. Carved by the Virgin River over millions of years, Zion offers a serene yet powerful landscape. After soaking in the natural beauty, we’ll transition from the tranquillity of Zion to the vibrant energy of Las Vegas. Known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” Las Vegas dazzles with its neon lights, world-class shows, and round-the-clock excitement. Whether you want to try your luck at the casinos, indulge in gourmet dining, or simply take in the spectacle of The Strip, Las Vegas promises an unforgettable experience.
Day 7: LAS VEGAS
Today is yours to explore all that Las Vegas has to offer. From the high-end boutiques of The Forum Shops to the roller coasters and themed attractions of the various hotels, there’s something for everyone. Take in a Broadway-style show, relax by the pool, or explore the nearby desert with an optional excursion. Whether you’re drawn to the bright lights or the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes, Las Vegas is a city of contrasts that invites you to create your own adventure.
Day 8: LAS VEGAS - MOJAVE DESERT - LOS ANGELES - DEPARTURE
Bid farewell to the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas as we journey back through the Mojave Desert, a landscape of stark beauty with its Joshua Trees and arid expanses. Arriving in Los Angeles, your tour concludes, but the adventure doesn’t have to end. Consider extending your stay in LA to explore its beaches, and cultural attractions, or take a scenic drive along Highway 1 to San Francisco.
