DAY 2: New England – Quebec City
Leave the city behind as you travel through the picturesque landscapes of New England, passing rolling hills, dense forests, and charming small towns. In autumn, this route is ablaze with spectacular fall foliage. Cross the border into Canada and arrive in Quebec City, a European-style city with cobbled streets and 17th-century architecture. If you wish, you can visit a traditional maple farm to see how Canada’s famous syrup is made before enjoying an optional dinner of classic French Canadian cuisine.

DAY 3: Quebec City – Montreal
Start the day with a guided tour of Québec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its well-preserved old town. See the grand Château Frontenac, the imposing Citadelle and take in views of the mighty St. Lawrence River. Afterwards, travel to Montreal, a city known for its vibrant culture and blend of French and English heritage. Explore the historic Old Port district and visit the stunning Notre-Dame Basilica, one of Canada’s most beautiful churches.

DAY 4: Montreal – Ottawa – Toronto
Journey to Canada’s capital, Ottawa, where elegant government buildings and lush parks line the Rideau Canal. Then, follow the scenic 1,000 Islands Parkway, a stunning stretch along the St. Lawrence River dotted with tiny, picturesque islands. Arrive in Toronto, Canada’s largest city, where towering skyscrapers contrast with the shores of Lake Ontario. For a unique perspective, consider an optional boat cruise to explore the 1,000 Islands region.

DAY 5: Toronto – Niagara Falls
Marvel at Toronto’s iconic skyline, including the soaring CN Tower, before heading to the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls. Witness the power of the cascading water from Table Rock and see the famous Floral Clock. If you’re feeling adventurous, take an optional boat ride to the base of the falls, where you’ll feel the mist from the roaring waters.

DAY 6: Niagara Falls – Gettysburg – Pennsylvania Dutch Country
Cross back into the USA and travel through the Finger Lakes region of New York State, known for its rolling vineyards and sparkling lakes. In the afternoon, visit Gettysburg, the site of the most pivotal battle of the American Civil War. Walk the historic battlefield and learn about the events that shaped America’s future. Continue to Pennsylvania Dutch Country, home to the Amish, a community that has preserved its traditional way of life for centuries.

DAY 7: Amish Country – Washington, DC
Step back in time as you visit an Amish farmhouse museum and gain insight into their unique culture, where electricity and modern conveniences are left behind in favour of a simpler life. Then, journey to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States and a city steeped in history and political power.

DAY 8: Washington, DC
Explore the iconic landmarks of Washington, D.C. on a guided city tour, including the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Washington Monument. Pay respects at Arlington National Cemetery, where John F. Kennedy is buried, and then spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace. You may choose to visit the world-famous Smithsonian museums or take a relaxing stroll along the banks of the Potomac River.

DAY 9: Philadelphia – New York City
Your journey concludes with a visit to Philadelphia, the birthplace of American independence. See the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence.
