Austefjorden
Austefjorden feels like Norway at its most intimate - a narrow, winding fjord where mountains rise steeply from the water and waterfalls trace fine lines down dark rock faces. As you glide deeper into the fjord, the world seems to fall quiet, inviting you to step out on deck and simply take it in. There’s time to watch light shift across the cliffs, spot small farms clinging to the hillsides, and feel the scale of the landscape closing gently around you. This is a place best experienced slowly, where the journey itself becomes the highlight. Austefjorden offers a rare sense of stillness and immersion.
Nordfjordeid
Nordfjordeid sits peacefully at the end of a long fjord, surrounded by green slopes and open countryside. From here, there’s time to explore fjord-side landscapes, travel inland towards lakes and rural communities, or simply enjoy the stillness where mountains reflect softly on the water. Life moves gently in this part of Norway, shaped by nature rather than pace. Nordfjordeid offers a sense of closeness to the landscape that feels calm and grounding.
Geiranger
Few places capture the drama of Norway’s fjords quite like Geiranger. Sheer cliffs rise from deep blue water, waterfalls spill down the mountainsides and the air feels fresh and alive. Whether viewed from the shore or from high above, the scenery is striking at every turn. Despite its grandeur, there is a stillness here that encourages quiet moments - simply watching the landscape shift with the light.

With more theatres per person than anywhere else in the UK, Newcastle has a wide range of arts and cultural attractions for visitors to enjoy, from the Theatre Royal – regional home to the Royal Shakespeare Company – to the famous Angel of the North.

Surrounded by mountains and sparkling fjords, the waterside city of Bergen has a spectacular setting. There has been a settlement here since medieval times and the colourful waterfront buildings of the Hanseatic wharf, known as Bryggen, are testament to its fascinating history of trade. As Norway’s best known medieval settlement, the Bryggen is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Our comprehensive selection of excursions allows you to discover the many sides of Bergen, such as the fish market and narrow cobbled streets, as well as stunning views of the city from the summit of Mt Fløyen. Alternatively, those who have visited the city previously may like to experience one of the tours that travel further afield. Just 300 yards from the main piers, you will find the Fortress Museum (Fesningsmuseum), which has an interesting collection of objects related to World War II.
The Geirangerfjord, which made the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005, is Norway's most spectacular and perhaps best-known fjord. The 16-km-long (10-mile-long), 960-foot-deep Geirangerfjord's most stunning attractions are its roaring waterfalls—the Seven Sisters, the Bridal Veil, and the Suitor. Perched on mountain ledges along the fjord, deserted farms at Skageflå and Knivsflå are being restored and maintained by local enthusiasts.The village of Geiranger, at the end of the fjord, is home to fewer than 300 year-round residents, but in spring and summer its population swells to 5,000 due to visitors traveling from Hellesylt to the east. In winter, snow on the mountain roads often makes the village isolated.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink in one of her four bars, lounges and pub. Or take in a show in the tiered main theatre, or discover your hidden talents in the card room, library, and craft studio.
Other facilities include the wellness centre, gym, two swimming pools and a range of retail shops, perfect for days at sea.
