A one day trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai takes you all the way up north to the most amazing destinations. Explore Mae Khajan Hot Springs and the stunning Wat Rong Khun (White Temple). Visit Thailand’s famous Golden Triangle areas and enjoy the boat ride on Maekong river at Chiang Saen, where the border of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet. Then browse through the local market at Mae Sai on the Myanmar border.

Doi Inthanon is the highest peak in Thailand and a true jewel of natural beauty, consisting of rugged mountainous terrain blanketed by tropical forests and dotted with majestic waterfalls. The most stunning is Mae Ya waterfall. The park is perhaps the best place in Thailand for bird watching with 362 different species of bird make their home here. With some beautiful nature trails to explore, hiking is a great way to experience the fantastic scenery of Doi Inthanon up close and personal.
